3rd summer of working on the tree house… first summer was mostly just clearing brush, bushes, barbed wire and getting neighbor’s permission (back of platform may slightly overhang their property). 2nd summer, we got the first 2×10 up before Griffin smashed his hand with a hammer while “helping”. After a few strategy changes, we used straps to hold the 2nd piece in place last weekend, allowing us to get it perfectly level with the first board. Today went much quicker, getting 4 cross-beams in place. We hope to have the platform in place by the end of the summer!

Griffin was jazzed, parents were frazzed.
